Downtown Harrisburg - 10am - 2 Hours

Architectural photography can be a great way of exploring and documenting a city, whether it's your home or on holiday. Its about capturing not only the design and accurate representation of a building, but to have the shots be aesthetically pleasing to the viewer's eye. An architectural photographer makes pictures, not takes pictures.

In this session, we will be covering how to better understand Architecture photography and we'll be looking at ways to take some impressive shots and the camera settings to use.

    PHOTOGRAPHERS
    Robert Bonsall
At 14, Robert took a school trip to Germany where he photographed his adventures and thus began his love of photography. Later inhis teens, his father gave him his Voigtlander 35mm camera and here is wherehe explored how lighting and composition affected the look and feel of his photography. For the majority of his professional career, he was involved in the photography world from selling camera equipment, teaching photography classes, developing his work, and yes capturing memories for families, wedding couples, and children with his unique perspective on using light and composition to capture a moment that you can feel when you look at it. No two artistic expressions he produces are ever the same. He needs to allow the people he photographs to interact with life activities to tell a story and represent the individual's true essence. When a moment in front of him appears to be particularly special, whether it be by beauty or experience he captures it.

Robert Bonsall is available for private bookings

Available most Tuesdays and Sundays from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.

photo taken in Edinburgh in one of the city parks, I was visiting with the intention of taking a few photos on the autumn theme. The photographic equipment used was a canon eos 7D mark 2 and a Canon EF 70 - 300 mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens. I took the photo from the ground to capture the right angle of view and perspectives, significantly reflecting the dynamics of the shot.
